Out fished by the Children....yet again

Well we were finally able to get the boat in the water at Quetico last weekend in between some rain and wind. We had hoped to get some bass and a few pike. The story goes like this.
We row out to the spot where we are successful all the time....as we get there I nail a big bass....likely the biggest I have ever caught. Now as I bring it in and the children are getting me the net.....it dances across the water like bass do and it is gone:(.
I row the boat back to the spot again now my daughter hooks a monster...I am able to net it...she does not want to lip it so I do...she snaps off a photo and we release it.
My youngest son Quinn who is five and has the Superman Rod is sitting at the front of the boat....I row us back to the spot and we start to drift.....I look back as I hear line peeling off and see that little superman rod bent over and he is fighting a big bass.....and not saying a word...I ask him if he has one....and he is straining to say yes....well we get it in the boat and it is as big as the one his sister just landed....he does not want to lip it either...so we take a photo of him and the net with it and released it.
The weather changed on us so we decided to pack it in.
These are by far the largest bass my children have caught...good times.
Here are the photos...hope that you enjoy!
Shane
